We have invested a huge amount of love and passion into restoring the buildings that surround the main family home and as a result, are now able to host small and intimate weddings through to gatherings of up to 160, within a traditional, country retreat setting.

If you have a larger wedding in mind, we can accommodate up to 160 guests by extending your reception into the covered courtyard, which leads directly into the beautifully maintained and extensive riverside gardens.

This option includes The Old Stables and Raj Tent.

Wedding ceremonies and blessings can be held within the Manor itself, the beautiful stone terrace or the old stables. Each space has its own unique character and provides a memorable and picturesque backdrop for exchanging vows.

Want to hold a Church Ceremony First?

For those looking to hold their ceremony in church, the Catholic Church of St Hedda is located opposite Egton Manor and just a two minute drive up the hill towards Egton village, you will find St Hilda’s Church of England.

We are genuinely so excited to hear from you and chat through your wedding plans. We will do everything we can to ensure your wedding or celebration is as magical as can be, creating the most wonderful life memories for you to treasure forever.

Supporting You Through Your Wedding Planning

On the day of your wedding, we will provide you with a dedicated venue co-ordinator who will look after you, your guests and the Estate. Our co-ordinator will be in touch with you 8 weeks prior to your wedding day, to run through timings, suppliers and all the final details, but you can of course contact them at any time with any queries you might have.

Whatever viewing format you choose, our dedicated venue co-ordinator will be able to take you through all the various options, availability, suppliers and timings etc to create your bespoke wedding day at Egton Manor.


Egton Estate only hold a limited number of weddings and events a year and as a result, our prices do not differentiate for season or days of the week. All prices are on an exclusive basis and include Egton Manor Grounds tables, chairs, toilets, parking and bar facilities.

If you wish to proceed with a booking, we will send you our contract to read and sign, along with our booking fee invoice.

We request a 25% non refundable booking fee to secure your date – though this sum is fully transferable should you need to change dates.

We then require a further 25%, 6 months prior to your event day and the remaining balance ( 50% of the total booking fee) 1 month before your event day.

Covid Safety

For any wedding requiring social distancing, we have plenty of space to accommodate guests – please just ask us to talk through our space and options.

Please also be fully reassured of our absolute commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy venue for each set of guests to fully enjoy at their leisure. Accommodation and hire rooms are fully fogged after each use and cleaned down thoroughly.

They are all specialised event caterers who have a passion for great food at an affordable price, so whether you’d like a simple roast dinner or a Michelin looking seven course tasting menu, just ask them as they love a challenge.
